Liability Brewing Company, a 10-barrel brewery and taproom based in Greenville, won a bronze award in the 2023 World Beer Cup, a global beer competition, on May 10 in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Greenville brewery’s Ultra Secret Enigma won in the competition’s International Light Lager beer style category. The beer was first brewed in 2021 and has also won a bronze medal in the 2021 U.S. Open Beer Championship.

World Beer Cup winners were selected by an international panel of 272 beer judges from 26 countries. The 2023 competition featured 10,213 entries from 2,376 breweries in 51 countries.
