GREENVILLE, SC, 7/15/2026 – Liability Brewing Company brought home gold and silver medals at this year’s U.S. Open Beer Championship. 

The U.S. Open Beer Championship is recognized as one of the top three beer competitions in the United States and judges more beer styles than any other competition in the world. Winners were selected by a panel of beer judges across more than 180 style categories. This year’s event was held at the U.S. Open Event Center in Oxford, Ohio.

Liability Brewing Company was awarded:

• Gold in Belgian and French for Feral Garden Gnome
• Silver in Dortmunder/European-Style Export for Moon Without a Tide

Feral Garden Gnome is Liability Brewing Company’s most awarded beer, with a track record that includes gold, silver, and bronze medals from the U.S. Open Beer Championship, back-to-back gold medals in the 2026 and 2025 World Beer Cups, a silver medal in the 2025 Great American Beer Festival, and a bronze in the SC Brewers Guild Brewers Cup. This Belgian Blonde balances expressive notes of banana bread, clove, and Anjou pear with rich flavors of clover honey, plantain, and white pepper.

Moon Without a Tide is a Dortmunder featuring notes of yeast rolls, honeysuckle, and golden raisin, with flavors of honey, pear, and malt ball center

With these new wins, Liability Brewing Company has now earned a total of 17 U.S. Open Beer Championship medals, including four in barrel-aged categories.
